Blackeyed Susan is a blues flavored rock band fronted by ex-Britny Fox singer, Dean Davidson. After his departure from Britny Fox in 1990, he went on to form Blackeyed Susan and release a great album, Electric Rattlebone. It has hint of blues, but it is a rocker to the core; a natural progression from where Dean left off from Britny Fox. BF fans: you won't be disappointed! This is truly a great album.
After Electric Rattlebone ran its course, Dean formed a new band under the same name to release a 10 song demo called Just a Taste. This was the final release under the Blackeyed Susan name, and it was not released with a record label. You can find a rare copy of this really good album on cassette only!
You can follow Dean Davidson's current projects at his official website: DeanDavidson.com.
NOTE: Blackeyed Susan is NOT the same as The Blackeyed Susans (the Australian band).
