Banking Officer
In
2002, I became a banking officer at US Bank in Salem. At US Bank, I
helped match customer financial needs with a wide array of banking
products, including loans, lines of credit, credit cards, life insurance,
annuities, and deposit accounts. I was recognized as the 5th highest producing banker
in the nation for the entire year - out of approximately 3,000 bankers in
24 states.
Branch Manager
I was promoted to
branch manager in 2004 after only 21 months as a banker. During my
first five years as a manager, I grew the branch base of checking accounts
by 27.5%, the loan balances by 32.9%, the deposit balances by 25.3%, and the
monthly fee income by 36%. I was recognized with an Annual Pinnacle
award three times (the highest honor awarded to branch managers).
Small Business Owner
While working full time, I invested in rental
homes. I learned to effectively market these homes, while working
hard to manage the financial side of the business.
I grew the business from one home to five homes in five years.
MBA Student
I am currently
working towards earning my Masters in Business Administration from Oregon
State University. In addition, I am also earning my Accounting Certificate
(upon completion, I will have all of the accounting credits necessary to
sit for the CPA exam). My expected graduation is June
of 2010.
